Why am i not getting good Artifacts in genshin? ›

The best Artifacts are locked behind high-level content, so you won't have to worry about farming specific sets until later in the game. As you progress through the story and go up in Adventure Rank, you'll unlock more and more ways to acquire Artifacts of higher rarities, from 1-star pieces all the way up to 5-star.

Many consider farming artifacts in Genshin Impact a hassle, to say the least. It is time-gated by the cruel resin system that forces players to play a maximum of 30 minutes per day. Not to mention the layers of RNG that keep good artifacts days or weeks away from players' hands.

At Adventure Rank 45 in Genshin Impact, players will be able to unlock Level III in Domains of Blessing. Level III guarantees players at least one 5-star Artifact - which is the highest rarity - upon reward collection.

You'll be guaranteed a four star artifact at the domain level for AR 35 and you'll be guaranteed a five star artifact at the domain level for AR 45 (the highest).

Reaching adventure rank 40 or world level 5 will allow artifact domains to start dropping 5-star artifacts. While the drop rates are still extremely low at this level, it will be the most efficient way to start farming 5-star artifact sets.

DEF or Defense is one of the most common stat rolls for artifacts, meaning you'll see it every single day of your existence in Teyvat. The AR jump from 40 to 45 is MASSIVE. Without dropping your refillable resin it will take a week for just one level if you exhausted the world of quests and chest.

Condensed Resin can be used instead of original Resin to revitalize Petrified Trees and Ley Line Blossoms, and it's worth it because Condensed Resin will net double the usual reward amount.

Artifact Domain

The next drop rate comes from Artifact Domains. Players are recommended to start artifact farming from Adventure Rank 45, as they're guaranteed one 5-star artifact on every run. Travelers can also get two 5-star artifacts simultaneously, but the chances are very low.

That means that to fully max out one 5* artifact, you need 9 days worth of farming resin-free artifacts.

It costs 160 Primogems for a pull, so at 180 pulls, that's a total of 28,800 Primogems.

How do you get 5 star artifacts? A domain has a 0.6% chance of dropping a 5* artifact, this mostly applies to level 80 domains since level 70 or lower domains often don't give 5 star artifacts.
